Responsibilities
- Apply quality engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and execute effective test cases and collaborate on quality strategy and sprint planning.
- Build and maintain test automation across relevant layers.
- Contribute to adopting a behavior-driven development (BDD) model.
- Test real-world usage scenarios and identify quality risks during proof-of-concept and development stages.
- Maintain and enhance QA automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD.
- Support software quality control through client handover.
- Promote QA standards, culture, and best practices.
- Maintain quality assurance documentation, test suites, and metrics.
- Report defects and contribute to sprint retrospectives.
- Build test harnesses for LLM-backed and agentic features, including prompts, chains, tool use, and multi-agent flows.
- Define AI quality signals such as hallucination rate, instruction fidelity, context leakage, and output consistency.
- Design exploratory AI agents and LLM-as-judge patterns.
- Test nondeterministic systems using statistical assertions, behavioral envelopes, and adversarial inputs.
- Build AI-powered test planning and orchestration workflows.
- Partner with development to define CI/CD quality gates and drive test observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of Agile development and CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of bug-tracking and test case management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Solid QA and quality engineering fundamentals.
- Experience implementing automated testing in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Comfortable working in Scrum and Kanban environments.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to work hybrid, with at least 2 days per week in the Pune office.
