Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and document defects.
- Improve test automation strategies and methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated testing.
- Monitor test results, identify trends, and drive product-quality improvements.
- Mentor junior team members in test automation and quality-assurance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
- Understanding of functional, performance, and security testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Security testing experience and knowledge of security principles.
- Rust programming experience.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data security concepts and protocols.
- Experience with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
