Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager - Compute Hardware
Leads the PCU compute hardware program from architecture and development through validation, integration, supplier delivery, and manufacturing. Requires 10+ years of experience, including 5+ in program management, deep hardware development and HW/SW integration expertise, and experience with contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities
- Own the Primary Compute Unit (PCU) program end to end, including the integrated program schedule.
- Drive architecture alignment, hardware development, validation, integration, cross-functional alignment, and company-wide communication.
- Translate corporate strategy and milestones into product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain program assets and communication channels; track accountability and delivery.
- Help engineering development and test teams plan work using task-management systems such as JIRA.
- Define and track resource requirements and spending against budget with cross-functional leaders and Finance.
- Manage technical supplier activities, including build planning and execution, end-of-line testing, procurement, and supplier quality.
- Coordinate final PCU assembly with manufacturing teams and ensure parts are delivered on time and to specification.
- Coordinate fleet issue root-cause analysis, resolution, prioritization, communication, and JIRA ticket hygiene.
- Provide concise written and presentation-based updates on program status, risks, issues, and accomplishments.
- Facilitate technical and non-technical discussions, decision-making, options matrices, and a disciplined meeting cadence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in program management.
- Deep experience with hardware development and hardware/software integration.
- Significant experience working with contract manufacturers to deliver products from conception through production.
- Proficiency with tools for managing complex projects, such as JIRA and Smartsheet.
- Strong record managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to operate effectively through rapid design cycles and uncertainty.
- Self-motivated, proactive problem-solving approach.
