Staff Program Manager, Data Analytics

Owns the strategy, governance, architecture, and hands-on development of Fetch’s People data and analytics foundation. The role builds semantic models, reporting products, and operating processes while enabling trusted metrics, self-service analytics, and future AI automation.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Translate PX Operations objectives into a multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for People data and analytics, and own delivery.
  • Define the operating model for the program, including intake, prioritization, execution, and reporting.
  • Own architecture and build-versus-buy decisions for the data and analytics stack.
  • Represent People data and analytics to PX leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Build the program and operations to scale as demand grows.

Data Governance & Standards

  • Define the governance framework for People data, including definitions, ownership, quality criteria, access, retention, and privacy.
  • Build the business glossary and data catalog with canonical definitions for People metrics, fields, and entities.
  • Establish data-domain ownership and processes for raising, routing, and resolving data-quality issues.
  • Define and monitor data-quality and governance-health criteria.
  • Set the privacy, retention, and regulatory posture for People data in partnership with Legal.
  • Hold adjacent source-system owners accountable to data standards.

Data Architecture & Modeling

  • Build and maintain data models and schemas for People data and related events.
  • Define and govern authoritative records for core People entities.
  • Maintain data lineage and mappings from systems of record through transformation and consumption.
  • Build the consolidated and semantic data layers used by reporting and AI.
  • Lead a modular, multi-table architecture supporting point-in-time snapshots, new sources, and granular access.

Data Operations

  • Serve as the central contact for People data and reporting requests; triage, route, and track requests to resolution.
  • Product-manage the lifecycle of PX data solutions, including intake, prioritization, roadmap, adoption, and performance.
  • Operate access management to provide appropriate data access.
  • Maintain the operational backlog, request queue, and data-product roadmap.

Data Enablement & Literacy

  • Build a data-literacy program through training and resources.
  • Partner with PX teams to improve data questions and build a data-informed culture.
  • Expand self-service adoption of dashboards and tools.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain People operational reporting products and self-service tools.
  • Build metrics for PX performance, including service levels, cycle times, system health, and governance health.
  • Partner with PX teams on analysis and analytics consultation.
  • Develop advanced and predictive analytics as the data foundation matures.

Requirements

  • Experience in data and analytics, analytics engineering, data governance, or a related discipline, with a track record of building data foundations or analytics functions from the ground up.
  • Deep experience with data modeling and architecture, including schemas, semantic or metrics layers, master and reference data, and lineage.
  • Hands-on expertise writing SQL and building data models, reporting products, and dashboards.
  • Experience defining and running data governance covering definitions, ownership, quality, access, and privacy.
  • Experience turning ambiguous business questions into governed metrics and trusted analytics products.
  • Experience standing up a data governance or people analytics function.
  • Experience with People or HR data.
  • Familiarity with data foundations for AI and automation, including semantic layers, machine-readable definitions, and agent-consumable data.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $182,750–$215,000.
  • Compensation packages include base salary, equity, and benefits.
