Responsibilities

Activation & Talent Intelligence

  • Build and own Clay's talent intelligence infrastructure, including a system of record, market mapping, executive relationship programming, and signal monitoring across priority talent segments.
  • Design touchpoints, rituals, and outreach sequences that keep prospective talent engaged.
  • Develop proactive, executive-search-style engagement strategies at scale.

Research & Sourcing

  • Translate talent intelligence into faster, more precise sourcing strategies.
  • Build Clay-native sourcing workflows using enrichment, signal tracking, network activation, and personalized outreach.
  • Own and evolve the Referral Jam program as a structured, repeatable sourcing channel.
  • Build a team of sourcers and researchers.

Community & Talent Matching

  • Design and run an external talent community supporting Clay's pipeline and customers' hiring, especially in the GTM engineering space.
  • Build the matchmaking layer connecting people with relevant opportunities inside and outside Clay.
  • Partner with go-to-market and customer-facing teams to make the talent community valuable to members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in talent acquisition, executive search, venture capital, or a senior recruiting function with meaningful ownership of sourcing strategy.
  • Experience building proactive talent programs, including market mapping, executive relationship management, and talent networks.
  • Fluency with modern sourcing tools and data enrichment.
  • Experience designing referral programs, talent communities, or network-based sourcing at scale.
  • Experience building a function or team from scratch.
  • Strategic and operational systems-thinking ability.
  • Curiosity about the intersection of product, data, and finding exceptional people.
  • Strong, empathetic, and inspiring people leadership.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills across one-on-one conversations, events, and panels.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and experimentation.

  • Hands-on experience with Clay or similar platforms.
