Responsibilities
- Set the strategy and roadmap for Marketing Data Science, prioritizing high-impact opportunities with key partners.
- Establish goals and measurement approaches for attribution, ROI, and campaign performance.
- Deliver insights that improve marketing investment and outcomes.
- Lead and develop capabilities across performance marketing, brand marketing, user insights, reporting, and data infrastructure.
- Optimize budgets, measure causal lift, and test conversion signals.
- Plan and assess brand marketing measurement, including long-term and lower-funnel impact.
- Develop retention and lifetime-value models and audience segmentation.
- Build self-service dashboards, executive reporting, scalable data models, and internal tools.
- Track advertising, media innovation, and marketing analytics methods.
- Partner with Data Science leaders to evaluate and responsibly adopt AI tools.
Requirements
- 6+ years of marketing data science experience, ideally at a media agency or in-house marketing organization.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing mix modeling, causal lift or synthetic control, saturation modeling, optimization, and Bayesian approaches.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing talent.
- Strong stakeholder management and prioritization across complex workstreams.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to tailor data-driven recommendations to different audiences.
