Global Mobility Coordinator

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own business travel compliance cases end to end, including business visas, posted worker documentation, and Social Security registration.
  • Research novel mobility fact patterns, form recommendations, and confirm approaches with management.
  • Support employees through relocations and international assignments from acceptance through arrival.
  • Initiate provider cases, track moves, and answer employee questions about international relocation.
  • Own entity transfers end to end, coordinating with Payroll, People Services, Legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for global mobility questions from employees, hiring managers, and recruiters.
  • Document recurring questions and processes to improve self-service and reduce repetitive work.
  • Manage provider relationships and hold providers accountable for their commitments.
  • Identify recurring issues and lead project work such as policy updates, provider implementations, and expansion into new countries.

Requirements

  • Experience working in global mobility and personally owning mobility cases.
  • Strong responsiveness and follow-through when supporting employees and colleagues through stressful transitions.
  • Ability to explain complex visa and mobility processes clearly and without jargon.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and build repeatable solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with entity transfers, business travel compliance, posted worker filings, or Social Security notifications.
  • Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, or Jira.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude or other LLM tools in daily work.
  • Experience at a rapidly growing startup where processes may not yet be fully documented.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary: $135,000–$180,000 USD.
