Staff Product Manager, AI
Own the strategy, behavior, evaluation, and production quality of AI agents that help finance administrators audit spending and analyze company finances. The role requires senior product management experience, customer-facing product ownership, and hands-on work with prompts, traces, and model evaluations.

Responsibilities
- Own product direction for the Finance Admin AI surface, including strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day shipping decisions.
- Translate company-specific finance workflows, expense policies, approval chains, and month-end close processes into reliable agent behavior.
- Define quality and judgment standards for AI agents operating on customers’ money.
- Design and iterate evaluations, prompting approaches, and feedback loops as models and tooling evolve.
- Prototype, measure, review transcripts and traces, and iterate based on production performance.
- Determine when agents should recommend actions versus act autonomously, and build customer trust incrementally.
- Work directly with finance administrators and use customer behavior to guide product iteration.
- Partner with engineering, design, and research to ship customer-facing AI products.
Requirements
- Experienced product manager with a track record of owning complex, user-facing products end to end.
- Demonstrated ability to set product direction and ship products to real users.
- Experience building products for company administrators and business customers.
- Product judgment and scope appropriate for a senior role.
- Ability to work hands-on with AI agent behavior, prompts, evaluations, transcripts, and traces.
- Willingness to work from the San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City office at least three days per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with finance administration, expense management, accounting workflows, compliance, or financial operations.
- Experience building AI agents or products whose quality depends on model evaluation and customer trust.
Work arrangement
- Office-based three days per week; remote work permitted for up to four weeks per year in increments of at least one week.
