Software Engineer, Full Stack
Build and maintain full-stack developer platform components including dashboards, APIs, and SDKs for an AI-powered search engine serving agents and developers. Requires strong TypeScript skills, frontend design sense, and backend API experience.

Responsibilities
- Work on everything developers and agents touch when they use the product, including the developer dashboard, APIs, SDKs, and the developer platform
- Build agentic onboarding flows that quickly get developers (and their agents) from sign-up to first integration
- Shape the Exa API and SDKs into the cleanest, most ergonomic agentic search platform in the ecosystem
- Architect the API gateway that every Exa request flows through
- Build account, billing, permissions, and provisioning surfaces for enterprise customers
Requirements
- Strong generalist engineer comfortable owning the product lifecycle from design to deploy
- Fluent in TypeScript with a strong eye for front-end design
- Comfortable learning new tools and technology as needed
- Experience designing and maintaining backend APIs that real users and customers depend on
- Experience shipping products for LLMs, AI agents, or other systems used by many people
- Care about finding high quality information and its importance for the world
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with infrastructure for crawling the web, training embedding models, or high-performant vector databases
