IT Systems Lead
Own day-to-day IT operations for Pilot’s San Francisco office and support its hybrid workforce, including identity, device management, SaaS administration, AV, networking, compliance, and enterprise AI tooling. Requires 5+ years of IT experience and deep Okta expertise.

Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day IT operations for the San Francisco office and provide remote support, including onboarding/offboarding, hardware, access requests, and helpdesk tickets.
- Administer Okta, including application integrations, sign-on and MFA policies, lifecycle automation, and Workflows.
- Manage Mac and Windows fleets with Kandji/Iru and Intune, including zero-touch deployment, compliance, and asset lifecycle.
- Administer Google Workspace and SaaS tools such as Slack, Zoom, GitHub, and Dropbox.
- Own conference room and AV support, including Zoom Rooms, scheduling displays, and event setup.
- Support InfoSec initiatives, including SOC 2 and related certifications, evidence gathering, IT remediation, and internal audits.
- Administer enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude Enterprise, including permissions, connectors, and capabilities.
- Support office networking, including Wi-Fi, firewall/VPN, DNS, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and asset inventory.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years as a lead or sole administrator at a SaaS or similar technology company with a hybrid workforce.
- Deep hands-on Okta experience, including Workflows, complex authentication flows, and automation.
- Experience managing Macs with an MDM and working knowledge of Windows.
- Experience owning AV, conference rooms, and events end to end.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls and a compliance platform such as Drata or Vanta.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve team and company efficiency.
- Personable, patient, and methodical approach to employee support.
- Full-time, in-office work in San Francisco.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or FedRAMP initiatives.
- Experience deploying AI agents for IT or operational workflows.
- Familiarity with MCP connectors and permissions, agent identity management, and governance.
- GitHub Enterprise, developer tooling administration, Cloud IAM, or similar developer-support experience.
- Fintech or regulated-industry experience.
- Okta, Jamf/Kandji, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
Compensation
- Base pay range: $115,000–$156,000 in San Francisco, California.
- Eligible full-time employees may also receive equity, 401(k), health benefits, wellness benefits, paid parental leave, and flexible time off.
