About the role

Responsibilities

  • Regularly interact with storage facility operators, using Salesforce for team tracking (phone calls, leads, pipeline management)
  • Test new and innovative approaches to sales and lead generation
  • Call current customer base to generate cross-sell opportunities
  • Work outbound/outreach call campaigns from marketing team
  • Cold-call regional areas to find net-new opportunities with storage owners
  • Maintain fun and congenial work environment with team
  • Design, refine, and document value propositions to route customers to products
  • Prioritize high urgency, high quality opportunities
  • Maintain discipline of clicks and process in Salesforce
  • 80+ outbound calls a day
  • Generate 2 outbound SQLs per day
  • Pipeline management and follow-ups with potential clients
  • Hit monthly activity and lead quotas
  • Take detailed notes on all customer interactions

Requirements

  • 1+ years in SaaS sales or support, ideally in fast-growing startup (or comparable experience)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (or comparable CRM), Zendesk (or similar), Google Apps, Microsoft Office
  • Hunger to get results and improve them
  • Exceptional communication skills (phone, email, text)
  • Time-management skills and motivation in remote environment; navigate ambiguity
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills to scale systems and processes
