The Senior FPGA Engineer will architect and implement FPGA networking and DSP systems for phased-array satellite ground stations, leading designs from concept through deployment and improving fielded system reliability. Requires 5+ years of digital hardware design experience, FPGA development expertise, and a bachelor's degree in a hardware-focused field.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement networking and digital signal processing blocks on FPGAs for high-rate phased-array antenna data.
- Lead projects from concept through prototyping, productization, deployment, and operations.
- Define requirements, assess architectural trade-offs, and optimize resilient, high-speed communication systems.
- Review field-test data and resolve hardware-software integration issues to improve reliability and throughput.
Requirements
- 5+ years delivering complex digital hardware designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar hardware-focused field.
- Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills for efficient, synthesizable designs.
- Python experience for automation, simulation, and system integration.
- Hands-on FPGA-based DSP and/or networking experience.
- Experience with FPGA SoCs, processors, peripherals, and custom logic.
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for debugging high-speed FPGA designs.
- Ability to work onsite in Torrance.
Nice-to-haves
- C++ or Rust experience for embedded software.
- Experience architecting high-performance PCBAs, including FPGA integration.
