Solutions Engineer
The Solutions Engineer supports Turkish and EMEA enterprise customers through technical discovery, API integration, onboarding, and adoption while partnering on pre-sales and translating regional requirements for global product and engineering teams. The role requires 3+ years in technical customer-facing work, strong API expertise, and business-level Turkish and English.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and relationship management for enterprise customers in Turkey and EMEA.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions teams on pre-sales technical discussions, solution design, API consultations, product demonstrations, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
- Guide enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, onboarding, and platform adoption.
- Represent Turkish customer needs to Product and Engineering teams, translating business and technical requirements into clear specifications.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the Alpaca platform.
- Collaborate with compliance, operations, product, and engineering teams on regional requirements and feature rollouts.
- Create solution support materials and product documentation, including Turkish-language collateral.
- Coordinate with Turkish regulators, vendors, and partners and communicate requirements to global teams.
- Travel within Turkey and EMEA as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise or B2B customers in technical, sales engineering, or solutions engineering roles, ideally at API- or SaaS-first companies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and software integration workflows.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
- Native or business-level Turkish and excellent customer communication skills.
- Business-level English for global, cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments in a startup environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in fintech, capital markets, brokerage, financial APIs, broker-dealers, or securities firms.
- Knowledge of brokerage, post-trade, settlement operations, and regulatory contexts.
- Experience closing enterprise deals with Account Executives.
- US securities qualifications such as SIE or Series 7.
- Familiarity with Metabase.
- Experience with the FIX protocol, OpenAPI, ReadMe, and technical documentation.
