Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Data teams to understand business processes, define pipeline requirements, and identify data gaps and reporting impacts.
- Own the Finance and Operations data layer and build trusted, reusable data models for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Design and document data flows from NetSuite, Ramp, and Pigment into Snowflake and Omni.
- Create validation checks, reconciliation workflows, and exception reporting across source systems, Snowflake, and Omni.
- Define and govern Finance and Operations metrics, including business logic, grain, source of truth, ownership, refresh cadence, and limitations.
- Build and maintain executive and self-service dashboards to communicate performance and support root-cause analysis.
- Automate manual data flows, reporting processes, and reconciliation workflows.
- Partner strategically with Finance and Operations on metrics such as LTV/CAC and last-mile cost per unit.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics role with exposure to financial or operational datasets.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building reusable data models in a cloud data warehouse.
- Experience with BI or semantic-layer tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.
- Experience validating outputs, reconciling discrepancies, documenting assumptions, and creating checks for critical metrics.
- Ability to translate business processes into data models, metrics, dashboards, and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, expectation management, constructive pushback, and communication of tradeoffs.
- Comfort working in an early-stage or evolving data environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, or CPM systems, including NetSuite, OSCA, or Pigment.
- Experience with wholesalers and EDI.
Compensation and Benefits
- Colorado-based candidates: $150,000–$170,000 based on experience.
- California-based candidates: $150,000–$170,000 based on experience.
