Leads complex strategy and organisational design engagements, helping senior clients translate ambition into structures, capabilities, behaviours, and ways of working that enable lasting transformation. The role also directs multidisciplinary teams, develops IDEO London's practice, and supports human-centred AI adoption.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex strategy and organisational design engagements from framing through activation.
- Analyze organisations as systems, including structures, incentives, behaviours, and cultures, to identify levers for lasting change.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leadership teams, shape opportunities, scope engagements, and stay invested in outcomes.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams across strategy, research, and design.
- Help clients make strategic choices, surface trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and align leadership.
- Prototype strategic and organisational futures through experimentation and iteration.
- Facilitate executive conversations that advance decisions.
- Develop IDEO's strategy and organisational design practice, including methods and points of view.
- Coach and mentor designers and project leads.
- Help clients navigate the organisational and human dimensions of AI adoption.
- Represent IDEO externally through writing, talks, and market relationships.
Requirements
- Strong track record leading innovation, strategy, and organisational design engagements in consulting, in-house, or both.
- Systems-thinking expertise across organisational, structural, behavioural, and cultural dimensions.
- Experience designing organisational futures and facilitating difficult leadership conversations.
- Experience leading transformation by designing structures, capabilities, rhythms, and behaviours that enable change.
- Strong facilitation and narrative skills with senior executives.
- Experience directing multidisciplinary teams and developing junior talent.
- Experience scoping opportunities, writing proposals, shaping briefs, and growing client accounts.
- Understanding of AI's organisational and human implications.
Nice-to-haves
- Transformation experience in health organisations.
- Experience guiding human-centred AI adoption and workforce change.
- Experience building an innovation practice or capability.
- Fluency with strategic choice-making frameworks such as Playing to Win.
- Experience with European markets or regulatory environments.
