Senior Product Manager, Financial Management
Own and grow Plaid’s Financial Management API products (Transactions, Investments, Liabilities) by discovering new use cases, setting long-term vision, collaborating with engineering/design on 0→1 features, and driving adoption/ARR through data-driven decisions in a B2B context.

Responsibilities
- Discovering new problems and applications for Financial Management products. Our products are used across numerous, constantly evolving customer segments and use cases – you’ll have the opportunity to build on the leading edge of data products.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ship intuitive, high-quality experiences that drive enterprise value.
- Balance qualitative feedback & intuition with quantitative success metrics to drive high-quality decisions. Own and report on success metrics like product adoption and ARR.
- Delivering value at scale. Our products reach thousands of customers and millions of consumers, so you’ll have the opportunity to create widespread positive impact.
- Long-term strategy and vision setting. You’ll define the path forward for your product area, and inspire stakeholders to help execute on your vision.
- Collaboration and teamwork. You’ll work across a highly cross-functional team of engineering, data science, product marketing, and more to collectively deliver meaningful solutions.
- Be the face of your product both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience in a B2B context.
- Prior experience influencing pricing & packaging for their products.
- Experience directly participating in sales and account management conversations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering & Design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Data-driven decision-making mindset; comfortable using both qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics to prioritize work.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and building 0→1 initiatives.
Nice-to-Haves
- Led technical, API-based B2B products.
- Extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is able to operate independently and make bold, informed decisions without waiting for perfect information.
- Experience with financial management products including Transactions, Investments, and Liabilities.
- Background in insights on open banking data, AI for PFM tools.
