Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the patient acquisition platform, improving stability, scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Build scalable APIs and microservices for fast, reliable patient-facing data access.
- Evolve SEO infrastructure supporting thousands of patient-facing pages, prioritizing page speed and discoverability.
- Develop provider profile and practice page experiences in collaboration with Design, Product, and Marketing.
- Integrate third-party data sources and content management systems to deliver dynamic, content-rich experiences.
- Drive AI-focused innovation, including use of large language model systems for intelligent and personalized features.
- Promote engineering excellence through testing, CI/CD, observability, automation, and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical discussions, and improve coding standards and maintainability across teams.
Requirements
- Experience owning and evolving complex, user-facing platforms end-to-end.
- Experience designing performant systems with SEO and page speed as priorities.
- Experience architecting full-stack solutions across backend APIs, AWS infrastructure, and React.
- Experience integrating third-party data sources and content management systems such as Contentful.
- Experience leveraging large language model systems to transform user data into actionable insights.
- Strong practices in testing, CI/CD, observability, and system performance optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across distributed, cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.

- Remote base salary: $180,000–$265,000 USD.
