Responsibilities
- Build and design next-generation user experiences for human and agent users across the LaunchDarkly product suite.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide tools and platform capabilities for building high-quality user experiences.
- Mentor engineers and raise standards for technical rigor and system design.
- Own operational excellence for the experience platform, including monitoring, observability, incident response, on-call, telemetry, and alerting.
Requirements
- 10+ years building large-scale products for sophisticated audiences performing complex work.
- Experience designing interfaces and supporting technology platforms for consumer-grade enterprise applications.
- Technical leadership experience, including setting direction, writing specifications, and influencing across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field, or preferably a graduate degree.
Nice-to-haves
- Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Event-driven architectures and large-scale data processing for high-volume event ingestion and analysis.
- Cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
- Data stores and infrastructure including ClickHouse, Redis, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
- Experiment lifecycle tooling, including flag–experiment integration, metric frameworks, and automated monitoring.
- Familiarity with Statsig, Eppo, GrowthBook, or Optimizely.
- Funnel analysis, causal inference, or Bayesian experimentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Zone 1 target pay: $214,800–$295,350.
- Zone 2 target pay: $193,400–$265,870.
- Zone 3 target pay: $182,600–$251,020.
- Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location.
- Restricted Stock Units, health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits are provided in addition to salary.
