About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and architecture of internal software tools for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Architect and implement data integrations with enterprise tools like Autodesk, establishing API design and data synchronization best practices.
  • Drive development of web applications and platforms, making decisions on frameworks, infrastructure, and deployment.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of third-party software for build-vs-buy decisions and integrations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with ML engineers to implement ML, RL, and LLM-powered features.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
  • Participate in technical strategy and long-term technology roadmap planning.
  • Own production reliability and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
  • Deep full-stack expertise: frontend frameworks, backend services, databases, cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating complex concepts.
  • Proven leadership through management, technical lead roles, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellence in system design: distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures.
  • Track record in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with React/Vue, Node.js/Python/Go, AWS/GCP.
  • Strong DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Data engineering, ETL pipelines, or ML/AI integration.
  • Startup experience in rapidly scaling company.
