Business Development Senior Manager, APAC

Leads strategic Premium distribution partnerships across APAC, from partner strategy and commercial analysis through negotiation, approval, and launch. The role requires 5+ years of regional business development experience, fluency in English and Korean, complex deal expertise, and strong financial and cross-functional skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, structure, negotiate, amend, close, and manage strategic distribution partnerships across APAC.
  • Develop partner strategies for priority markets through partner analysis, prioritization, and forecasting.
  • Serve as the primary partner contact and own the full relationship lifecycle.
  • Analyze existing partnerships to improve performance and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Manage internal approvals with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Product, and other relevant functions.
  • Drive cross-functional workstreams toward deal objectives and timely execution.
  • Manage a prospective-partnership pipeline and assess commercial impact through analysis and business cases.
  • Travel across APAC as needed to strengthen partner relationships and support deal execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of significant business development or strategic partnerships experience within APAC.
  • Fluency in English and Korean; additional APAC languages are a plus.
  • Proven success structuring and closing complex enterprise deals and scaling partnerships with measurable commercial impact.
  • Understanding of APAC markets, with deep experience in Korea, Thailand, or Indonesia especially valuable.
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution and relationship ownership.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, understanding legal frameworks, and partnering with attorneys.
  • Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams and explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Analytical, data-driven experience with financial modeling and business case development.
  • Clear, influential communication with senior internal and external audiences.
  • Initiative, resilience, commercial judgment, and ability to independently drive deals from ideation through launch.
  • BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance.
  • Experience using basic AI tools.

  • MBA.
  • Experience in telco, OEM, payments, entertainment, or digital-platform partnerships.
  • Additional APAC language skills.
