Senior IT Engineer
Provides day-to-day IT support for a globally distributed AI company, including help-desk operations, macOS device lifecycle management, Google Workspace administration, endpoint compliance, and onboarding. The role can grow into security, infrastructure, automation, and internal tooling projects.

Responsibilities
- Handle help-desk tickets, including password resets, access provisioning, and Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and general technical troubleshooting.
- Manage the device lifecycle: procure, provision, configure, and ship laptops; perform offboarding wipes and returns; and maintain accurate asset inventory.
- Run onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, security profiles, welcome communications, and day-one readiness.
- Administer Google Workspace users, groups, aliases, and license assignments through the admin console and CLI tools.
- Support endpoint compliance and follow up on machines that do not meet security policies.
- Deploy and enforce endpoint security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Manage corporate software seat assignments, renewals, license optimization, and access reviews.
- Support office networking, conference-room setups, AV, and other office technology as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training through written guides, walkthroughs, and screen shares.
- Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and process documentation.
- Contribute to SOC 2 evidence collection, device-trust initiatives, security policy rollouts, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, endpoint management, and internal tooling projects.
Requirements
- Experience in IT support, help desk, or an internal support function.
- Comfort troubleshooting macOS, managing profiles, and working in the terminal.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace administration or the ability to learn it quickly.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and traffic flow.
- Basic understanding of endpoint security, encryption, and access controls.
- Strong written communication skills for collaboration through Slack and Notion.
- Self-direction and the ability to work independently across time zones.
- Curiosity about systems and automation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MDM platforms.
- Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with zero-trust networking concepts and tools.
- Background in SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to international IT regulations and data privacy requirements, including GDPR.
Compensation
- U.S. salary range: $65,000–$90,000 annually.
- Compensation may vary for candidates outside the U.S.
