Principal Product Manager, Reporting and Measurement

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product life cycle from ideation to prototyping, testing, design, launch, and post-launch analytics, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including engineering, media-buying, data science, sales, marketing, and client management.
  • Help define the company’s short- and long-term product roadmap by translating vision into specific product solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership, management, and execution for data initiatives to drive results for TV advertisers.
  • Understand customer requirements and synthesize product features to prove the full impact of TV marketing campaigns, balancing current capabilities with future plans.
  • Monitor industry trends, competition, and position Tatari’s products accordingly.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with emphasis on customer-facing data & analytics products (bonus for advertising or marketing technology).
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments.
  • Passion for features leveraging data, analytics, and ML/GenAI; strong analytics sense to extract signals from large datasets and build stories through data visualization.
  • Experience partnering with Design via user research and product design to address customer needs.
  • Strong communicator with excellent people skills for interacting with teams, clients, and vendors; ability to present roadmaps compellingly to senior leadership.
  • Success in developing high-leverage, hard-to-copy features that delight customers and grow the business.
  • Strong in customer obsession, Agile, user stories, written/verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience specifying and shipping products on ETL and calculation pipelines; comfortable with pipeline design, data modeling, batch vs. real-time tradeoffs, and end-to-end metric computation.
  • Familiarity with audience and reach measurement (e.g., Nielsen ONE, cross-platform reach/frequency, deduplicated audience metrics, incremental reach).
  • Understanding of TV/advertising measurement beyond direct-response (CPA/ROAS): brand lift, upper-funnel, audience-based metrics, including modeling and limitations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Expertise in data pipelines, data science-driven analytics, and data visualization/storytelling.
  • Ability to discuss novel DS techniques for big data problems and design choices for intuitive presentation.
