Responsibilities
Own the API platform roadmap, including label creation, MCP, SDKs, and developer documentation.
Own MCP as a product: define its ownership, evolution, and relationship to other integration paths.
Define and maintain platform standards for teams extending the API surface, including reporting APIs, EDD, and Autopilot.
Establish consistent standards for testing integrations across carriers.
Partner with engineering leadership on platform architecture decisions and long-term technical investments.
Maintain a clear point of view on developer experience, including onboarding, documentation quality, SDK coverage, and MCP capabilities.
Represent the platform in cross-team planning to ensure domain teams follow platform standards.
Engage directly with developers and mid-market customers to identify integration friction and prioritize fixes.
Provide product guidance and mentorship to other product managers building on the platform.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
8+ years of experience in product management.
Track record owning developer-facing or API-first products.
Experience setting technical or platform standards adopted by other teams.
Deep understanding of API design, developer experience, and SDK strategy.
Experience with MCP, agentic commerce, or LLM-driven integrations.
Experience in shipping, logistics, or e-commerce infrastructure is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Standard US base salary range: $179,000–$243,000 annually; offers are generally anchored around $211,000.
Two US pay ranges are available, including a higher range for areas with higher labor costs such as NYC and California.
