Director, Growth Creative
Lead the Growth Creative function at Nourish, owning strategy, team, production systems, and the creative-to-performance feedback loop for paid marketing channels. Requires 7-9 years in creative strategy or performance marketing, strong creative instincts, people leadership, and experience building scalable creative systems from scratch in high-growth DTC or agency environments.
About the job
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive strategy for Growth Creative: Define the vision, creative roadmap, prioritization framework, and brand guidelines for creative across all marketing channels. Translate performance signals and audience insights into clear strategic direction.
- Lead and grow the team: Manage and develop a high-performing team across creative strategy and production (FTE, freelance, and agency). Own hiring, coaching, and org design for the function.
- Own the creative-to-performance loop: Set creative KPIs, build and own the test-and-learn framework, and collaborate with channel management to close the gap between what we make and how it performs.
- Build systems that scale: Design the operating model, workflows, and production infrastructure that consistently deliver high-volume, high-quality creative across multiple channels and audience segments.
- Be the internal expert on creative: Serve as the cross-functional voice on all things creative (brand expression, audience POV, commercial brand, and creative standards) including direct partnership with exec leadership.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in creative strategy or performance marketing, ideally with a meaningful stretch in a high-growth DTC environment or a performance creative agency.
- Think strategically from first principles; able to set a long-term creative vision and explain decisions.
- Strong creative instincts, especially for what will or won’t work in paid ads. Able to level up creative quality, diversity, and brand.
- Talented people leader with track record of hiring, developing, and managing large teams, including creatives. Sharp discernment for team performance.
- Built creative systems from scratch. Comfortable designing for complexity and building for scale.
- Fluent in performance metrics; drive creative analysis end-to-end from insight to action. Strategy rooted in performance data.
- Able to lead and influence across teams: low-ego, strong POV, move cross-functional decisions forward with senior leaders.
- Thrive in high-growth, high-stakes environments; comfortable being both strategic and a systems builder.
