About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage SaaS applications: oversee provisioning, access management, and on/off-boarding for services.
  • Provide IT support and administration for tools including Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, Gitlab, VPN, Airtable.
  • Document and improve IT processes; automate tasks and create runbooks/playbooks.
  • Handle hardware lifecycle: procurement, management (Apple, Linux, Windows), patching, depreciation.
  • Manage software assets: lifecycle, license assignment, Access Control Matrix with least privilege.
  • Perform day-to-day IT operations, helpdesk, hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Support OT: install, manage, secure new technologies with engineers.
  • Collaborate with senior IT team for advanced diagnostics.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure: Conference AV, on-premises (routers, firewalls, ethernet, security cameras).
  • Handle security: monitor CVEs, remediate issues.
  • Provide minimal off-hour support for network/infrastructure updates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in IT/OT roles supporting multiple teams.
  • 5 days/week onsite in Emeryville, occasional travel to Santa Clara.
  • Experience managing/deploying Okta, familiarity with SSO/SAML.
  • Strong IT/OT systems admin, troubleshooting macOS/Linux/Windows.
  • Network infrastructure knowledge, hybrid networks.
  • Project management, writing/documentation skills.
  • Customer service skills, self-learning aptitude, fast-paced work.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical/security experience, data protection.
  • Programming/scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
  • Google Workspace, AWS.
  • Automation of onboarding/offboarding (Okta Workflows).
  • VPN (Tailscale), Meraki switches, Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+.
