Administers enterprise AI platforms, licenses, integrations, governance, and security controls while supporting employees and automating operational reporting. Requires at least three years of systems administration or AI operations experience, enterprise AI platform expertise, identity administration, Python scripting, and SOC 2 familiarity.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal AI tooling support, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
- Administer AI platforms and licenses, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access controls, and cost and usage monitoring.
- Define and enforce AI usage policies covering data handling, acceptable use, and model governance.
- Support safe integration of AI tools with existing systems, including SSO, identity, and data sources.
- Improve AI security and compliance, including data loss prevention and audit readiness.
- Audit and monitor AI usage logs and help set and track budgets for responsible, cost-effective AI usage.
- Partner with the IT Director on AI governance frameworks, vendor evaluation, and SOC 2 readiness for AI systems.
- Build automations and scripts to streamline AI tool administration, reporting, and monitoring.
- Educate and train employees on responsible and effective AI use.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, AI operations, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise AI and LLM platforms such as Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong administration experience with identity and SaaS platforms, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, and acceptable-use policy design.
- Experience with SSO and integrations, including Okta or OneLogin, for connecting AI tools to enterprise identity.
- Python scripting experience for automating administration, reporting, and monitoring tasks.
- Understanding of data security and data loss prevention concepts as applied to AI tools.
- Experience supporting SOC 2 audits or similar compliance frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train non-technical users.
- Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid role: work from home or in the office on Monday and Friday, with work in the New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $250,000–$325,000.
- Compensation also includes an annual cash bonus and equity compensation.
- The salary range is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
