Build and scale Salesforce quote-to-cash infrastructure, including CPQ, pricing, approvals, order management, and integrations with billing and finance systems. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Apex, including triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable processing, alongside Lightning Web Components and Flow automation.
- Design and build Salesforce quote-to-cash infrastructure covering product catalogs, pricing models, quotes, orders, discounts, approvals, amendments, renewals, and co-termination.
- Extend CPQ and agentic-selling capabilities with custom pricing, quote-calculation logic, quote and order experiences, and package API/data-model integrations.
- Build and own integrations between Salesforce and billing, provisioning, and finance systems, including Stripe, Metronome, and NetSuite.
- Support product and pricing launches by modeling catalog, SKU, and pricing changes across downstream systems.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor for implementation and code review.
- Partner with Business Systems, Finance, DevOps, and other stakeholders on data models, reporting, release management, source control, testing, and deployments.
- Maintain controls, test coverage, documentation, and scalable solutions for pricing, discounting, and contract changes.
Requirements
- Production Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
- Experience building or extending Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash functionality, including product and pricing data models, quote and order lifecycles, approvals, amendments, and renewals.
- Experience writing custom code against CPQ package APIs and data models, beyond configuration-only work.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with billing, ERP, or provisioning systems using REST or Bulk APIs, middleware, or direct callouts.
- Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, sandbox-to-production releases, and peer review.
- Active experience with AI-assisted development tools and verifying generated code.
- Basic SQL skills and ability to work with a data warehouse.
- Strong communication with sales, deal desk, finance and accounting, product, and engineering stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
- Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification.
- Knowledge of governor limits, bulkification, sharing and visibility, recursion control, and CPQ performance considerations.
- Experience implementing or re-platforming CPQ solutions end to end.
- Experience with Stripe, Metronome, Oracle, usage-based pricing, or consumption pricing models.
- Understanding of how CPQ decisions affect bookings, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.
Compensation
- Annual compensation range: $270,000–$345,000 USD.
