Sema4.ai Job Template
Senior Product role shaping multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for Sema4.ai's AI finance agent portfolio. Requires 8+ years PM experience shipping B2B/enterprise and AI/LLM products, deep finance ops knowledge, technical fluency with agents, and executive customer presence.
About the job
What You'll Do
- Shape the multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for AI finance agents, and own execution and delivery.
- Make hard portfolio calls: where to go deep vs. broad, what to build vs. partner, when an agent is good enough to ship vs. needs more rigorous evals.
- Drive underlying platform requirements (Runbooks, Actions, Document Intelligence, HITL, observability, evals) that finance agents need.
- Define company-level quality bar for agents that touch the ledger: accuracy targets, SLAs, auditability, controls posture, rollback.
- Partner with GTM leadership on positioning, packaging, and pricing for the finance portfolio; own the narrative to market.
- Work closely with design partner companies to understand gaps and opportunities, drive learnings back into product.
- Raise the bar for how the broader product org thinks about agents.
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 8+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping B2B SaaS or enterprise products at scale, including at least one product that materially moved business metrics.
- Shipped AI/LLM-powered products in production and developed opinions on evals, hallucination management, agent design, and the gap between demos and customer-ready products.
- Deep working knowledge of finance operations (three-way match, period close, accruals, SOX-relevant controls).
- Demonstrated influence beyond direct scope — shaped roadmaps, platforms, or company strategy not formally owned.
- Technical fluency to debate agent architecture, prompt/tooling design, RAG, eval frameworks, and integration patterns (ERPs, doc stores, messaging) with senior engineers.
- Executive presence with customers: run the room with a CFO and secure next-quarter use cases.
- Crisp written communication, sharp prioritization, bias to ship with incomplete data.
Nice to Have
- Prior staff/principal PM experience at an AI-native company or AI-forward fintech.
- Time spent in-seat as a controller, FP&A leader, AP/AR director, or audit partner.
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement and security review at SOC 2 / SOX / data-residency level.
