Leads design, development, and delivery of flight-critical power electronics systems including inverters, DC-DC converters, and battery management for autonomous aircraft. Requires 10+ years experience in electrical engineering with full-cycle hardware development expertise.

Responsibilities
- Own flight critical power system design for X-BAT
- Design power electronics for high voltage and low voltage systems, including inverters, DC-DC converters, battery management
- Lead others to execute design, verification, and manufacturing deployment
- Provide mentorship and technical feedback to power team and cross-functionally
- Harden designs for harsh environments (shock/vibe, high reliability, radiation, high-altitude)
- Work on power sub-systems for low power (10 kW)
- Full-cycle hardware development: concept, modeling, worst case analysis, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, testing, validation
- PCB ownership: drive layout and design with ECAD engineers, optimizing for power density, EMI, thermal, manufacturability
- Design for safety, manufacturability, and reliability
- Cross-functional collaboration with Mechanical, CAD, Embedded, Software, Supply Chain, Test Automation, Production, aircraft teams
- Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, technical milestones
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years experience as Electrical Engineer
- Experienced with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, debugging
- Familiarity with Altium or equivalent
