Technical Account Manager
Own the technical success of strategic enterprise customers by improving the health, scalability, reliability, and performance of their n8n deployments. The role requires customer-facing technical leadership, production troubleshooting, cloud and DevOps expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical success of a portfolio of strategic, top-tier customers as their dedicated technical point of contact.
- Lead technical handoffs from Sales Engineering through implementation and ongoing operations.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders, architects, platform owners, and engineering leaders.
- Assess customer deployments for scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability risks.
- Recommend platform improvements, upgrades, optimizations, and architectural changes.
- Advise customers on automation and workflow best practices.
- Oversee technical support intake, issue management, critical incidents, and high-severity cases.
- Coordinate responses with Support, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Analyze support activity, recurring issues, usage patterns, and operational risks to drive preventative action.
- Triage bugs and feature requests and track them through completion.
- Share customer insights with Product and Engineering and contribute lightweight fixes, workflow improvements, or pull requests where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Customer Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and platform operations.
- Experience diagnosing performance, reliability, and scalability issues in production environments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Hands-on DevOps and infrastructure experience with Docker, Kubernetes, self-hosted deployments, and cloud environments.
Nice-to-haves
- At least 6 months of experience with n8n or similar workflow automation or iPaaS platforms, such as Zapier, Make, or Node-RED.
- Familiarity with AI and LLM integrations, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled business process automation.
- Experience supporting self-hosted and SaaS enterprise customers in complex or regulated environments.
- Experience with open-source, developer-first, or technical platform products.
- Exposure to scaling customer success or TAM programs in a high-growth SaaS or infrastructure company.
- Proactive, consultative approach with strong organization across multiple customer priorities.
