About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support strategy discussions on spend allocation and pacing between Finance and Marketing leadership
  • Partner with Financial Operations to track Marketing media and production budgets
  • Establish KPI frameworks for marketing channels and campaigns; set and monitor KPI targets, OKRs, and efficiency goals
  • Develop ROI calculation methodologies with Data Science and Research teams; lead holistic campaign reviews accounting for qualitative and quantitative impacts
  • Support weekly reporting needs from Marketing and Hosting organizations; conduct quarterly campaign performance reviews
  • Conduct deep dives into business trends and drivers of variance; independently lead data extraction, analysis, visualization, and presentation
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Hosting leadership to develop strategy and support business performance

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant business and analytics experience (mix of financial planning, management consulting, and/or analytics preferred)
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Ability to work and influence cross-functionally across internal teams (marketing, data science, finance) and external partners
  • Strong communication skills for synthesizing large data sets into narratives and recommendations for various audiences
  • Advanced presentation skills (Google Docs, Keynote, Excel)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within marketing ecosystem (media agency, content providers, or brands)
  • Familiarity with marketing channels and KPIs, acquisition funnel analysis, campaign effectiveness evaluation
