Responsibilities
- Hire, manage, and guide a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects through technical guidance and career development.
- Set team goals and performance expectations in collaboration with sales and other teams.
- Serve as technical sponsor for strategic customers, advising on AI adoption strategies, use-case scoping, and proof-of-concept execution.
- Partner with Enterprise Tech sales leadership to drive adoption of Anthropic products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize customer feedback and resolve adoption blockers.
- Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building.
- Establish a vision for solutions enabling safe and beneficial AI in technology products.
- Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and technical content.
- Stay current with AI/ML trends, research, and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical professional.
- 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
- Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases, API integrations, and LLM deployments.
- Experience building and scaling teams and processes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships with technical and engineering leaders.
- Familiarity with LLM architecture and operation.
- Interest in emerging AI research and industry trends.
- Passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years leading Solutions Architect teams through hypergrowth, including managing senior individual contributors and developing junior talent.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience engaging C-level stakeholders in $10M+ technical evaluations and enterprise sales cycles.
- Success adapting technical approaches across commercial and Fortune 100 customer segments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual OTE compensation range: $315,000–$380,000 USD, including target sales commissions or bonuses and base salary.
