Lead / Principal Consultant - Data and AI
Leads enterprise Celonis implementations by translating business needs into AI-augmented data, process analysis, KPI, and operational solutions. The role requires 7+ years of consulting or process improvement experience, Celonis, PQL, SQL, Python, enterprise process expertise, and fluency in English and German.

Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers using AI-augmented delivery workflows.
- Conduct business discovery workshops and translate strategic objectives into Celonis use cases.
- Define project scope, data requirements, success criteria, and customer-specific technical specifications.
- Configure data connectivity and extraction pipelines, coordinating with specialist resources as needed.
- Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, dashboards, and operational solutions.
- Build and configure Process Intelligence Graph solutions, data transformations, process analyses, automations, and AI-powered insights.
- Identify process inefficiencies and root causes, lead value-creation workshops, and quantify business impact.
- Enable customer users, deliver training and demonstrations, manage outcomes against scope and timelines, and document solution designs.
- Develop domain expertise, create scalable solution patterns, and collaborate with Product and Business Apps teams on platform improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in management or IT consulting, data or solution consulting, or process improvement consulting.
- Experience building and configuring solutions on the Celonis platform.
- Proficiency in PQL, SQL, and Python.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- Ability to write precise specifications, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and iterate effectively.
- Strong enterprise process and financial-metric knowledge, with expertise in areas such as Inventory Management, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Accounts Payable.
- Knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong workshop facilitation, presentation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50%.

- Prompt engineering or context engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in a business process domain or industry vertical.
- Experience creating scalable solution patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.
