Responsibilities
- Optimize and strategically evolve Workday Finance Order to Cash (OTC) systems, bridging business needs with technical solutions.
- Contribute to Customer Contracts, Billing, Collections, Invoices, Settlements, and OTC period-close activities.
- Lead and participate in Order Management and Billing transformation projects and large-scale operational changes.
- Partner with business application owners to support business automation and data management.
- Provide expert input into the IT roadmap, including Workday feature rollouts, major releases, and new modules.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and champion industry best practices for OTC business users.
- Organize Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Define testing strategies, identify risks, and assist with training materials and release notes.
- Gather and translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
- Develop design and solution documents with cross-functional teams.
- Manage communications and change processes for platform changes.
- Develop and execute UAT, post-sprint, and regression test scripts.
- Track and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of direct experience with Order to Cash implementations or operations as a Business Systems Analyst or Product Manager.
- Expert knowledge of Workday or similar ERP systems, including Oracle Apps, PeopleSoft, or SAP, particularly in quoting, revenue, billing, and collections.
- Experience integrating custom or third-party applications with Workday or other ERP systems.
- Basic database knowledge, including writing SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of OTC concepts, including quoting, billing, cash applications, and new product introductions.
- Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, goal orientation, adaptability, leadership, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
