Quality Assurance Engineer
The Quality Assurance Engineer tests responsive web applications through manual and automated testing, investigates defects, and maintains test plans and automation coverage. The role requires at least two years of QA experience, familiarity with Python or Java, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans to qualify product releases and features.
- Perform initial root-cause analysis on bugs using browser developer tools, network and console tabs, Google Cloud server logs, and SQL analysis.
- Report bugs and errors in Jira with detailed information to help engineering teams identify and fix issues.
- Help reproduce bugs reported externally.
- Execute extended and edge cases around primary use cases to improve test plans.
- Collaborate with development teams to keep test plans current as products change.
- Contribute to the existing automation framework, including triaging and fixing failing tests and updating tests for product changes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in automation and manual testing of responsive web pages.
- Experience testing across different operating systems and browsers.
- Experience testing RBAC and permission models is a plus.
- Experience using Jira and Chrome Developer Tools to report and troubleshoot errors.
- Strong knowledge of web-based applications.
- Strong organizational skills and thoroughness when executing test plans.
- Attention to detail and an analytical mindset for identifying difficult edge cases.
- Experience working in Agile teams with multiple product releases per week.
- Comfort working with Python or Java.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BE/BTech/BSc).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to REST APIs.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
