Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Build Mochi Health’s lifecycle marketing program from the ground up across email, push, and in-app channels. The role requires 5+ years in consumer lifecycle or retention marketing, hands-on Customer.io and technical fluency, strong measurement skills, and AI-native execution with careful human oversight.

Responsibilities
- Build lifecycle journeys from scratch, including onboarding, activation, cross-sell, upsell, win-back, and churn prevention.
- Orchestrate coordinated email, mobile push, and on-site/in-app messaging with contact strategy and frequency rules.
- Own the Customer.io lifecycle stack, including requirements, events, attributes, integrations, and implementation with growth engineering.
- Define and govern event, attribute, and audience taxonomies to enable self-service campaigns.
- Create AI-assisted workflows for copy production, variant generation, journey and segment logic, and automated pre-launch QA, with appropriate human review gates.
- Measure activation, retention, and incremental revenue using holdouts, incrementality analysis, and cohort analysis.
- Partner with growth and product teams on conversion-rate optimization for signup flows and landing pages.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing in a consumer or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Experience building at least one lifecycle program from zero.
- Demonstrated AI-native workflows using Claude or comparable tools for copy, segmentation, templates, QA, or analysis.
- Strong judgment about AI failure modes, including invented claims, tone drift, surveillance-like personalization, and incorrect logic.
- Hands-on Customer.io experience; Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo experience may be considered with demonstrated ability to ramp.
- Technical fluency with events, webhooks, APIs, Liquid templating, and data models.
- Comfort querying data with SQL or an equivalent capability.
- Hands-on experience with push and in-app messaging.
- Strong consumer copywriting instincts and high editorial standards.
- Experience measuring retention, lifetime value, or incremental revenue with clear causal attribution.
- Ability to set lifecycle strategy and execute directly in the marketing platform.
- Sound judgment regarding tone, cadence, and restraint when communicating about personal topics.

Compensation and Benefits
- $160,000–$200,000 annual salary.
- Full-time, onsite five days per week.
