Senior Fund Accountant
The Senior Fund Accountant supports venture capital clients with fund accounting, financial reporting, investor communications, and fund administration activities. The role requires 3+ years of closed-end fund accounting experience, an accounting or finance degree, and knowledge of private capital structures.

Responsibilities
- Support venture capital clients with fund accounting and CFO services.
- Manage capital calls and distributions.
- Provide audit and tax support.
- Perform pre- and post-close services.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage Limited Partner communications.
- Help clients use fund metrics and tools, including real-time IRR, portfolio data, TVPI, and RVPI.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve the Investor Services product suite.
- Consult with clients and implement fund administration software.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams.
- Mentor and coach junior accountants.
Requirements
- 3+ years of closed-end fund accounting experience.
- Degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements.
- Understanding of venture capital, private equity, fund-of-funds, or fund administration.
- Understanding of local fund structures, including Unit Trusts, Investment Companies, Limited Partnerships, VCLPs, ESVCLPs, and stapled structures.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, multitasking, and judgment skills.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and determine when to make decisions versus escalate issues.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Proactive approach to adopting AI for operational workflows.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior accountants.
- Experience working with venture capital or private equity fund administration software.
