Growth Lead - Strategic Finance
Own Linktree’s revenue model, initiative business cases, and forecasting across subscription and new revenue streams. The role partners closely with Product, Growth, and Marketing and requires 8+ years of strategic finance experience, exceptional modeling skills, and deep subscription or product-led growth expertise.

Responsibilities
- Own the revenue model across subscription MRR and new revenue streams, reconciling it to actuals and the long-range plan.
- Build and maintain initiative-level models for growth and monetization bets using explicit, testable assumptions.
- Own the monthly revenue forecast cycle: actualize results, reforecast, explain movements, and distinguish signal from noise.
- Model subscription MRR by plan, term, segment, and geography, linking the PLG funnel to revenue.
- Size new revenue opportunities, assess required investment and operating expenses, and rank opportunities based on evidence.
- Partner with Product, Growth, and Marketing leaders to set targets and measurement methods.
- Lead the recurring growth and revenue performance forum, including agenda, metrics, commentary, and follow-through.
- Contribute revenue analysis to executive, board, and investor materials, as well as the cash forecast and annual budget.
- Manage or mentor an analyst or manager, or demonstrate readiness to do so.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a commercially embedded finance function.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS, consumer internet, or technology businesses.
- Exceptional financial modeling ability, including complex revenue and scenario models built from first principles.
- Experience partnering with Product, Growth, or Marketing as a finance counterpart.
- Track record of sizing new business opportunities and building investment cases using sound judgment with estimated data.
- Strong revenue forecasting experience and understanding of how forecasts connect to actuals, cash, and long-range plans.
- Deep knowledge of subscription and product-led growth businesses, including MRR movements, ARPU, retention, cohorts, trials, conversion mechanics, and funnel conversion.
- Experience modeling revenue impact from product and funnel initiatives and assessing incremental impact.
- Experience owning recurring performance reporting for senior audiences, including variance commentary and follow-up.
- Exceptional Google Sheets skills and familiarity with modern BI and analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney with the right to work in Australia.
