Responsibilities
- Partner with VP of Finance on accounting functions and operations to create transparency and efficiency
- Ensure accurate accounting of costs with complete documentation
- Prepare consolidated account schedules and quarterly reporting packages
- Manage accounting and analysis of revenue and gross-to-net models
- Model forecasted gross-to-net projections for insights
- Support annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors and executives
- Execute month-end close: analysis, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial analyses and KPIs for Executive team
- Assist with payroll process and reporting (union and prevailing wage)
- Maintain internal controls to mitigate risks
- Assist with local and federal tax filings
- Identify process improvements and automation for faster closes and accuracy
- Handle ad hoc analysis and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years relevant accounting experience, preferably Big 4
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong financial analysis and accounting concept knowledge
- Excellent verbal/written communication for cross-functional collaboration
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Success in competitive, entrepreneurial environment
