Responsibilities
Provide daily support to Legal, Compliance, and Markets teams
Advise on the application of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA), CFTC and Securities Exchange Commission regulations to exchange and clearing organization operations
Analyze legal issues related to CFTC-regulated prediction markets
Draft and review contract self-certifications and other regulatory filings
Draft and negotiate participation agreements
Draft comment letters, no-action requests, and interpretive submissions
Prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations
Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement trends
Advise on exchange and clearinghouse rulebook development
Collaborate with Compliance and Surveillance teams
Support development of internal policies and procedures
Support litigation strategy
Requirements
J.D. and active U.S. bar membership
3–7 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with the Commodity Exchange Act, CFTC regulations, and related market structure
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Strong judgment and ability to translate legal requirements into practical business guidance
Excellent communication skills
