Responsibilities
- Support institutional clients with post-trade operations for digital assets, including timely settlements, reconciliations, and risk mitigation.
- Manage counterparty and client settlement requests within agreed service-level agreements and monitor trade-operations KPIs.
- Support spot, lending, and derivatives operations, completing processing and maintenance accurately and on time.
- Use blockchain explorers, trading platforms, and other tools to reconcile and monitor digital-asset activity across internal ledgers and external systems, including banks and custodians.
- Perform cash positioning and inventory management to support treasury management, mitigate risk, and streamline settlements.
- Monitor outstanding settlements and triage competing tasks while maintaining accuracy across client and counterparty monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve trading, settlement, and risk workflows.
- Work with Accounting and Finance to provide accurate trade and settlement data and resolve breaks.
- Develop process-improvement initiatives, reports, presentations, and projects that improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with traders, operations teams, compliance officers, executives, and clients to resolve settlement issues and provide guidance.
- Stay current on cryptocurrency trends, regulatory guidelines, and trading, settlement, and custodial-services practices.
- Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting settlement activities for institutional clients across traditional asset classes and crypto assets.
- Experience with and understanding of crypto-native institutions.
- Deep understanding of financial services, products, strategies, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, digital-asset custodianship, and risk management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, organization, communication, and stakeholder-influence abilities.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive work, competing priorities, complex digital-asset transactions, and fiat-currency flows.
