Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust quality systems in alignment with AS9100 standards.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA).
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to identify risks, improve process capability, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts, establish control plans and inspection strategies.
- Use data-driven methods to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
- Shape quality strategy, mentor team members, and influence cross-functional decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
- Experience leading RCA/CAPA.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (AS9100 or similar).
- Experience supporting NPI and scaling production in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and process control (SPC, capability analysis).
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability industries.
- ASQ CQE, Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, tolerance analysis, design reviews.
- Experience with QMS, MES, PLM, data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with metrology, NDT, automated inspection.
