About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust quality systems in alignment with AS9100 standards.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA).
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to identify risks, improve process capability, and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts, establish control plans and inspection strategies.
  • Use data-driven methods to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Shape quality strategy, mentor team members, and influence cross-functional decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience leading RCA/CAPA.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (AS9100 or similar).
  • Experience supporting NPI and scaling production in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and process control (SPC, capability analysis).
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability industries.
  • ASQ CQE, Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, tolerance analysis, design reviews.
  • Experience with QMS, MES, PLM, data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with metrology, NDT, automated inspection.
