Leads and develops Engineering Program Managers responsible for complex Risk Operations technology programs. The role sets technical strategy, partners with Engineering and Product, and requires at least five years managing cross-functional technical program leaders.

Responsibilities
- Shape and drive alignment on Risk Operations’ technical strategy to support ambitious top-line goals.
- Partner cross-functionally across Risk Engineering, Product, and Operations to establish and execute the technical roadmap.
- Coach and develop a team of Engineering Program Managers leading complex technical programs, including setting vision and goals, providing consistent coaching, maintaining a high bar, fostering team culture, and supporting hiring.
- Personally drive a small number of critical technical programs when their strategic importance, complexity, or ambiguity requires senior influence.
- Evolve team structure, strategy, functions, and responsibilities to meet changing business needs.
- Foster values including user-centricity, transparency, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing program managers who lead complex, cross-functional technical programs.
- Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and/or go-to-market.
- Technical proficiency sufficient to clarify architecture, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks and enable informed technical direction.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to digest complex information and make recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, teams, and senior leaders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in financial risk and compliance and/or at comparable technology companies.
