Modeling and Analysis Engineer
Build simulation, performance-modeling, trade-study, and optimization tools that expand an AI-powered automated design engine for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires strong systems thinking, physics or engineering modeling experience, and hands-on software development; candidates at all experience levels are considered.

Responsibilities
- Lead engineering development to expand and refine capabilities within an automated design engine.
- Build and maintain software tools across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Develop simulation, performance-modeling, trade-study, and optimization capabilities for complex systems.
- Analyze design spaces and identify trade-offs and bottlenecks.
- Execute hands-on engineering work, including detailed implementation and validation.
Requirements
- Experience building rigid-body dynamics simulators, finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solvers, or other physics and engineering modeling tools.
- Experience developing trade-study and optimization tools for complex system analysis.
- Broad systems understanding across multiple technical domains, with deep expertise in one or two areas.
- Strong first-principles problem-solving ability.
- Ability to prioritize high-impact problems and take extreme ownership.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-performance, in-person environment.
- Open to candidates at all experience levels, including new graduates, early-career, mid-level, and senior engineers.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or shipping internal tools or products with AI coding agents.
