Solutions Engineering Manager
Leads and develops a team of Solutions Engineers while partnering with sales, customers, and internal product organizations to drive technical wins and customer success. Requires solutions engineering leadership, pre-sales expertise, cloud-native infrastructure knowledge, and strong security fundamentals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers supporting mid-market customers.
- Train, coach, mentor, and guide team members on performance, career progression, and technical and sales excellence.
- Coach discovery, business-value articulation, proof-of-concept strategy, and executive communication.
- Partner with regional sales leaders and Account Executives to prioritize opportunities, balance utilization, and improve technical win rates across the Americas and eastern Asia Pacific.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and engage customers at executive and technical-architect levels.
- Visit customer sites to demonstrate features and construct solutions.
- Conduct structured one-on-ones, set performance goals, and own career development plans.
- Support customers across sales, onboarding, adoption, and growth.
- Provide strategic feedback to Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Requirements
- Experience managing Solutions Engineers or technical customer-facing professionals, with a record of developing talent and improving team performance.
- Strong command of the pre-sales process, including discovery, technical qualification, proof-of-concept design, and connecting technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Linux networking and network security principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Experience with at least one major public cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, mTLS, zero-trust architecture, and PAM.
- Experience navigating complex infrastructure deployments at security-conscious enterprise organizations.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for server-side software and distributed systems.
- Fluency in English.
