Responsibilities
- Coordinate multimodal supply chain operations and execute the end-to-end movement of import and export freight shipments within a regional network.
- Ensure shipments move on time, handle exceptions, and support mid- to high-level escalations and complex movements.
- Monitor data quality, shipment milestone timeliness, internal KPIs, and service-level agreements.
- Follow standard operating procedures and help build scalable operational infrastructure and processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational quality.
- Lead business implementation and shipment execution for new clients and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external escalations, resolving client issues and escalating when necessary.
- Coordinate with steamship lines, intermodal and drayage vendors, customs, trade lane management, warehouses, transloaders, trucking providers, and other partners.
- Support partner-managed shipments and help drive partner autonomy.
- Travel regularly and potentially relocate temporarily to Hamburg, Germany, during the first 4–6 months before permanently relocating to Poland.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or an equivalent high-level vocational qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, and/or ocean freight operations in Poland; multimodal operations experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of local port and terminal software systems.
- Fluency in English and Polish; additional European languages are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and commitments.
- Hands-on, process-oriented, and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills.
