Senior Value Engineer, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)

Key Responsibilities

AI Discovery & Solutioning

• Understand clients' overarching AI strategies and distinct supply chain challenges in high-volume CPG
• Translate complex physical-world challenges into innovative AI solutions driving measurable impact
• Focus areas include predictive demand forecasting, inventory allocation, production scheduling, Order-to-Cash efficiency, and mitigating raw material volatility

Pre- and Post-Sales Execution

• Lead technical discovery and capability demonstrations during expansion/pre-sales cycles
• Guide implementation post-sale to ensure agreed value, margin efficiency, and adoption thresholds are reached

Hackathons & Prototyping

• Build creative prototypes in client hackathons using cutting-edge AI technologies
• Solve critical pain points across inventory deployment, shelf-availability, and DSD execution

Agentic Process Transformation

• Enable shift from traditional automation to autonomous AI agents empowered by the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform
• Support autonomous inventory rebalancing, intelligent shipment exception handling, and automated trade promotion deductions

Proof Projects

• Execute end-to-end business-critical Proof-of-Value projects
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails
• Ensure seamless integration with complex enterprise ERPs (SAP), TMS, and WMS

Domain & Industry Leadership

• Serve as technical subject matter expert for CPG Supply Chains
• Scale knowledge across the organization on FMCG, trade spend management, and high-velocity manufacturing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements within Supply Chain, CPG/FMCG, or Food & Beverage
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, S&OP, Direct Store Delivery (DSD), Trade Promotion Optimization
• Expertise in generative AI techniques: RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, fine-tuning
• Solid knowledge of Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch)
• Experience with data engineering tools for handling massive, high-velocity transactional enterprise datasets
• Strong presentation skills for supply chain executives, logistics directors, and enterprise IT leaders

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with CPG-specific enterprise architecture (SAP APO/IBP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, ERP/WMS platforms)
• Working knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other OSS LLM packages
• Experience deploying and monitoring models at scale across AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $131,000–$154,000 USD (New York)
• Total compensation includes base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits
• Unlimited PTO, flexible hybrid work model
