QA Analyst
The QA Analyst will plan and execute testing for a complex, data-driven clinical research platform, validating requirements, APIs, integrations, legacy parity, and backward compatibility. The role requires 5+ years of enterprise QA experience, Agile collaboration, strong analytical skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities
Quality Strategy and Test Planning
- Develop and execute test strategies and test plans for complex, data-driven applications.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, ambiguities, edge cases, and regression impacts.
- Partner with Product and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
Testing
- Execute and document functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
- Validate REST API integrations and data flows between frontend and backend systems.
- Compare legacy and modern system behavior to ensure consistent outcomes and backward compatibility.
- Track, document, and verify defect resolution.
- Contribute to QA standards, tools, and best practices.
Agile Collaboration and Delivery
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers during development and testing.
- Provide early and continuous feedback to build quality into the product.
- Support release validation and readiness activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting production and pre-production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience for web-based or enterprise applications.
- Experience testing complex, data-driven systems.
- Experience validating requirements and identifying development-lifecycle gaps.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; all work must be performed within the United States.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise systems.

- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
