Software Engineer - Test Automation
Build and maintain reliable automated tests and infrastructure for a browser-based 3D CAD platform. The role requires 3+ years of web test automation experience, strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills, and expertise integrating end-to-end testing into CI.

Responsibilities
- Expand automated test coverage across the CAD editor and drive pages.
- Evolve test infrastructure and CI to keep the test suite fast and reliable as coverage grows.
- Build tools for coding agents to reproduce failures and provide artifacts for diagnosing regressions and verifying fixes.
- Identify and eliminate flaky tests so failed builds reliably indicate real bugs.
- Improve the testability of the 3D editor to automate users’ CAD workflows.
- Help engineers write testable code and durable tests for new features.
Requirements
- 3+ years building and maintaining automated test suites for production web applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and ability to read and modify application code.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar tools.
- Experience building or substantially evolving an end-to-end test framework, including fixtures, test data, isolation, parallel execution, and flakiness control.
- Experience integrating tests into CI and maintaining fast, reliable pipelines.
- Interest in AI-assisted development and using agents to improve software quality.
- Experience with performance regression tracking.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing CAD, 3D, geospatial, mapping, high-performance editor, or gaming products.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $130,000–$170,000.
- Visa sponsorship is available.
