Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Partner Solutions Architects in a high-growth environment.
- Mature consulting and systems-integrator partner development functions across pre-sales teams and data analytics delivery organizations.
- Provide technical guidance to partner practices on lakehouse architecture, business-impacting offers, and Databricks platform adoption.
- Drive partner practice growth in collaboration with partner sales, partner alliances, Specialist, Professional Services, and Product teams.
- Establish cross-functional relationships to support partner and customer success.
- Build a collaborative culture and uphold company values.
- Drive customer success and Databricks DBU consumption through consulting partners.
- Assess consulting-services business needs, revenue potential, escalation management, and project-portfolio management for enterprise data transformation initiatives.
- Develop processes that improve the efficiency of technical field teams.
Requirements
- Experience hiring and managing field or technical teams from scratch in a hyper-growth environment.
- 8+ years of experience in senior pre-sales or post-sales roles, including helping develop successful professional teams in Big Data, cloud, or SaaS.
- Player-coach capability, with the ability to lead teams and contribute to partner and customer projects.
- Knowledge of and passion for data-driven decision-making, AI, and cloud software models.
- Technical background in data engineering, database technologies, or data science.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject.
